Military Resources
We hope the following information will be helpful to you during your time at NEAAAT, and we want to first of all say “thank you” for your service to our country. Our thank you extends to service members and to all family members, as we recognize that military life can be very difficult- physically, emotionally, socially, and academically. We are fortunate to have many military families in our school community!
Parents, our goal is to help with transition (inbound and outbound) for your student(s), whether they are transitioning to being a student at NEAAAT and if they are moving to a new school. NC is home to the 4th largest military population in the US. We see it as our duty to provide all the support systems possible to meet the unique needs of military students and families. Again, welcome to the NEAAAT family!
“When it came time to transfer schools, NEAAAT was more than helpful in making the transition go as smooth as possible. Through keeping in touch with my new guidance counselor, and maintaining the patience to work everything out, NEAAAT was able to help me feel much more comfortable in my new academic atmosphere. I have kept in contact with most of the coaches that have had an impact on me, and they have continued to be by my side with applying to college, letters of recommendations, and just simple words of encouragement. I can’t thank NEAAAT enough!”
